Premier Research Lab's Security Notice

BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE OR PURCHASING ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES FROM PREMIER RESEARCH LABS, LP (“PRL”). PLEASE READ THIS SECURITY NOTICE.

This Security Notice is incorporated into the Terms & Conditions.  All terms defined in the Terms & Conditions shall have the same meaning when used herein unless otherwise noted.

Please read this Security Notice carefully before using Premier Research Labs’ website, products, or services. This Security Notice explains certain security practices and user responsibilities related to the PRL website and related products and services. This Security Notice is incorporated into the Terms & Conditions. By accessing or using the website, creating an account, or purchasing products, you agree to this Security Notice to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this Security Notice limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable privacy, data security, consumer protection, or breach notification laws.

The security of data, software, hardware, accounts, and systems connected to the Internet is a shared responsibility between PRL and users of the PRL website. This Security Notice describes certain reasonable safeguards PRL uses to protect the website and related products and services, and it describes user responsibilities for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and using the website lawfully. Our collection, use, disclosure, sale, sharing, retention, and protection of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

  1. PASSWORDS AND SECURITY

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password, and account credentials. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law. You agree to use a strong password, keep your password confidential, avoid reusing passwords across services, and promptly notify PRL if you believe your username, password, account, or other credentials have been lost, stolen, accessed, or used without authorization.

PRL employees will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited communication. You should not disclose your password to anyone. PRL may suspend or restrict access to an account if we reasonably believe the account has been compromised or is being used in a manner that may harm PRL, other users, or the website.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable privacy, data security, consumer protection, or breach notification laws.

  1. WEBSITE SECURITY

PRL uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These safeguards may include access controls, authentication measures, encryption in transit, network security measures, firewalls, monitoring, logging, vendor controls, and other security measures appropriate to the nature of the information and our business operations.

When you provide payment or order information through the website, PRL or its payment service providers use encryption technologies designed to protect the transmission of sensitive information. Payment information may be processed by third-party payment processors subject to their own security obligations and applicable law.

No website, system, transmission, or storage method is completely secure. PRL cannot guarantee absolute security, but PRL maintains reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information and the website. If PRL determines that a security incident requires notice under applicable law, PRL will provide notice as required by law.

Service Providers and Contractors. PRL may use third-party service providers and contractors to host the website, process payments, fulfill orders, provide customer service, send communications, support analytics, maintain security, and perform other business functions. PRL requires service providers and contractors that process personal information on our behalf to use personal information only for authorized purposes, maintain reasonable safeguards, and comply with applicable contractual and legal obligations.

  1. PROHIBITED ACTIONS

You are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of the Site, by (a) accessing information not intended for such or logging onto a server or an account which you are not authorized to access; (b) attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization; (c) attempting to interfere with service to any User, Purchaser, subscriber, provider, host or network, including but not limited to, submitting any malware, virus to the Site, overloading, “flooding,” “spamming,” “mail‑bombing” or “crashing” or other malicious or illegal act of any description. You shall not use any device, software, script or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of Site or any activity being conducted on the Site. You shall not use or attempt to use any engine, software, tool, agent or other device or mechanism (including without limitation browsers, spiders, robots, avatars or intelligent agents) to navigate or search the Site other than through generally available third-party web browsers (for example, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.).

Security and Operational Monitoring. For security, fraud prevention, debugging, performance, legal compliance, and operational purposes, PRL may monitor activity on the website, including network traffic, server logs, access attempts, account activity, suspected misuse, and attempts to interfere with the website. This security and operational monitoring is conducted to protect PRL, users, the website, and related systems.

This Security Notice does not by itself authorize all cookies, pixels, advertising technologies, analytics tools, session replay tools, chat tools, or similar tracking technologies. Those technologies are described in our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, in our cookie banner, privacy choices tool, or other notices. Where applicable law requires notice, consent, or opt-out rights for tracking, recording, interception, or disclosure of electronic activity or communications, PRL will provide the required notice, consent mechanism, or opt-out mechanism.

If security monitoring reveals evidence of possible fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, illegal activity, or violation of these terms, PRL may use and disclose relevant information to investigate the activity, protect rights and safety, enforce agreements, comply with law, respond to legal process, and cooperate with law enforcement or regulators.

Communications and Recording. PRL will not intentionally record or monitor the contents of user communications through chat, calls, webforms, or similar tools except as described in the Privacy Policy, disclosed at the point of collection, or otherwise permitted by applicable law. Where prior consent is required for recording, monitoring, or disclosure of communications, PRL will seek such consent before the relevant recording or monitoring occurs.

  1. SECURITY INCIDENTS

If PRL becomes aware of a security incident involving personal information, PRL will investigate and respond in a manner PRL determines appropriate under the circumstances and applicable law. If PRL determines that notice to affected individuals, regulators, payment card brands, vendors, or other parties is required by applicable law or contractual obligation, PRL will provide such notice as required.

If a security incident involves individuals located outside the United States, PRL will evaluate any notification obligations under applicable international privacy, data protection, electronic communications, or breach notification laws. Notice requirements, timing, and recipients may vary by jurisdiction.

You agree to promptly notify PRL if you believe your account, password, payment information, or personal information has been compromised in connection with the website.

  1. INDEMNIFICATION

As a condition of accessing the website and using the products or services, you agree to indemnify and hold PRL harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your breach of this Security Notice, misuse of the website, unauthorized access to systems, violation of law, or violation of the rights of another person, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable privacy, data security, consumer protection, or breach notification laws.
